Entry Requirements
Entry into the CCHS Sixth Form is determined by GCSE results. Please find the entry requirements below.
We ask all prospective students to share with us their GCSE results on results day in August. This then initiates the process of offering places and securing subject choices.
Minimum entry requirements for September 2024 are detailed fully in the Admissions Policy 2024 booklet.
- All candidates should have a GCSE grade of 6/7/8/9 in English Language and Mathematics.
- All candidates need to achieve an average of at least 6.625 over their best 8 GCSE grades including English Language and Mathematics.The Admissions Policy provides details of how this average should be calculated.
- Students wishing to study two or more of Maths/Biology/Chemistry/Physics require at least one 8 in one of those subjects.
- Grade requirements for individual subjects are shown in the A Level Options Booklet.
