Throughout the year there are many opportunities to find out more about our Sixth Form, including our Insights Evening for prospective Sixth Form students, A Level taster lessons and tours of the school. We will continue to be in touch with all applicants so as to provide further details of induction events and other information about CCHS which we believe will be helpful to you.
Please remember that admission is determined by GCSE results as detailed in the Admissions Policy: Admissions Policy - Sixth Form | Chelmsford County High School for Girls
GCSE results should be uploaded on GCSE results day via a link that will be available on our website at that time. Offers will be made to successful applicants from GCSE Results Day. Results should be uploaded as early as possible on GCSE results day so that the Admissions Panel can make decisions and offer places to successful applicants as soon as possible.
Offers of places in the Sixth Form are made when GCSE results are published and results are uploaded to our application portal, however, all students are invited to participate in the Induction activities throughout the year.
Any questions should be addressed to sfadmissions@cchs.co.uk.
We would be grateful to receive applications by 4.00 p.m. on Monday 10th March 2025. This allows us to begin looking at option choices for the 2025 timetable, however, we accept applications throughout the year with offers being made on GCSE results day.
Your application will be acknowledged upon receipt by an email from Sixth Form Admissions.
